We’re thrilled to introduce the incoming singers and pianists for the Classic Lyric Arts 2023 summer programs: CLA France, CLA Berkshires, and CLA Italy!
This year's roster of artists is as impressive and even more international than ever with 61 singers and 11 pianists that come from more than 20 US states and 8 countries, including China, Brazil, and Singapore. It’s exciting to work with so many unique artists who come to our programs with distinct backgrounds but share a common goal to hone their mastery of operatic and song repertoire. Each of these artists possesses tremendous talent, potential, and promise.
As always, CLA France immerses our participants in the art of French singing and CLA Italy illuminates the traditions and techniques of Italian operatic singing. CLA Berkshires will continue last year's tradition of bringing Mozart to the mountains through a detailed exploration of this illustrious composer's operatic works. In each program, participants will develop their craft and artistry through the prism of language, culture, and history.
